Through an honors capstone program, a group of 9 KU seniors were chosen to participate in the National Student Advertising Competition. Through this, we were asked to raise awareness of Adobe Experience Cloud for Advertising as the leading, independent adtech provider with the target market being companies and agencies spending $1 Million+ annually on digital advertising. Adobe’s goal was to grow their adtech business by 25 percent with a $4 million campaign budget.

Our target audience is driven by the need to lead the competitive market through cutting edge technology. Adobe’s creative brand of market-defining disruption breeds the innovation that decision makers need to create exceptional experiences and eradicate their fear of complacency. Adobe is the spark that helps take decision makers from a place of dependency to leadership.

the strategy:


We are aiming to dramatically change the way in which the world views advertising. For too long, the people who are targeted in advertisements have been left out of the conversation about how these systems work. Now is the time for Adobe to stand up as the only adtech provider to fight for the consumer. These changes will not come easy, but Adobe is uniquely positioned both on the brand and product side to facilitate this movement. Over the past 25+ years, digital advertising has prioritized optimization with a disregard for the people who view the ads. The industry needs a wakeup call and we will be the ones to stand up and recognize the shortcomings. It is time for change. The People Deserve a Better Experience.
